The Employment and Volunteer Opportunities Job Fair will be held on Friday, December 8th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 49 South Van Ness, Room 132. As you know, the Department of Elections is committed to ensuring both its employees and poll workers reflect the ethnic and cultural diversity of San Francisco as much as possible in every election. We are therefore reaching out to outreach partners such as yourself to help spread the word to every community.

Through this event, we hope to find many of the thousands of poll workers and dozens of temporary election workers needed to conduct the Presidential Primary Election on March 5, 2024. This Employment and Volunteer Opportunities Job Fair will be a one-stop shop for job seekers, a place where anyone seeking work can apply, interview, receive a conditional offer of employment, and start the onboarding process, all on the same day. In addition, anyone interested in serving as a poll worker on Election Day, March 5, can complete an application, schedule a training class, and receive an assignment, all in approximately 30 minutes.
