Request to Receive Translated Materials

The Department of Elections provides elections materials in many different languages:

  • San Francisco’s official ballot and the local Voter Information Pamphlet are available in Chinese, Spanish, and Filipino.
  • Facsimile ballots (a copy of the official ballot translated into a particular language that a voter can reference when marking their official ballot) are available in Burmese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.
  • The state Voter Information Guide is available in Chinese, Filipino, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese.
